Hello same, when asking about "value", there is often quite a difference between "catalog" value and "market" value. Most often, the "market" value is less than "catalog" value, due to condition, centering, and demand.
For the stamps shown, most are of a lower quality (the Scott catalog prices stamps with VF centering and no faults), so I think Don's assessment is reasonable. I would probably value them in the range of 50c to $3.00, but would need to examine them personally to provide a better valuation.
Note: AND all of your stamps shown are USED, not unused as shown in the links, so not good references for comparison. |

Quote: When someone asks you for help, you have to be honest. Yes, and if you contact Robert A. Siegel Auction Galleries and provide images of your stamps, and suggest a price of $5,000 to sell your 220c, I'm sure they will be honest with you. |

Quote: When someone asks you for help, you have to be honest. That sounds like an accusation. How's this for honest? You show us 6 different stamps in 11 pictures, with some of the same items appearing three times each. How honest is that? What gives? The six stamps have clipped perfs, a torn corner, aniline staining, or are seriously off center. There is not one of them that I would consider adding to my collection. These items do not compare for grade with the stamps on ebay that sold. You should not expect to get very much money for any of them or even for all of them together. How much? You have honestly been told. How's that for honest? |
