One of which is very common and really worth only few pennies, one of which has staining, and one of which has a pulled perf. Someone might pay $1.99 for them, but I wouldn't.

,cap on left "2"(a)100 unused, never hinged,410.00, used approx.10.00 several years ago, cap on both "2"'s(c),700.00 unused, 30.00 for used, never hinged, 1,900.00 for one stamp alone years ago.
It depends on many factors such as condition, stamp genuine ect. Most premiere auction houses, like Seigels, usually require certifications which is an added cost by owner of stamp, conducted by expertise services such as P.S.E.The Philatelic Foundation in NYC are very professional with their assessments including does certs as well. . With auction houses, require always much through evaluations, they have high quality rare stamps. They make percentage of what is sold by them, including they do marketing work for catalogue of the auction to be sent out with exposure of your stamps. If any auction house decides to sell your stamps you sign a contract too.

that is what Scott had marked in specialized book..mostly sellers do not get those prices unless stamp graded very high ect, mint, never hinged conditions, rarity or scarce, high market demand.
some collectors like purchasing used stamps for different reasons, but auction houses usually have mint unless a stamp is very difficult to have in collection..some stamps stamps, for instance, the 423D..1 cent green with perf. 10x12..34 used examples are recorded. no unused examples are recorded.32 examples are precancels.
I hope some of this information was helpful. Best wishes with your stamp collection.
