It's a sad little thing, folded, previously hinged, no gum, a significant thin, but it was part of my father's boyhood collection. I've done some research here and elsewhere, but I'm a newbie and cannot tell if this is real, a facsimile, or an outright fake.

Any and all opinions would be welcome!

This is a stamp you can get under $ 20 and even $ 10, whit a fold like that it's even less, is your stamp that green or it's more blue in real ?

area66: the stamp is a little more towards the blue end of things, just very faded.
