Welcome Donnie:

You've come to a great forum; the folks here are all friendly and very knowledgeable.

I know there are several folks here who make their own pages. I'm not one of them -- I just bought myself an album, but if I were starting again today, I'd probably do my own.

There's a great website at http://www.stampalbums.com/ where for $30, you can download and print just about every country in the world. My suggestion to you is to go there and look around, but don't join yet.

Wait for some others here to weigh in with their suggestions. And try a few different ideas before you spend money on anything.

Another site worth visiting is http://www.philosateleia.com/ -- there you'll find a set of totally free pages, but only for the United States. If you have a worldwide collection, you'll have to stick with the first site.

I'm sure some of the other folks will have some good ideas for you.

Good Luck,
KirkS

Hi Donnie,

Welcome to the forum!

Mississippi? Where's Mississippi? Just kidding :) My wife is from Laurel and we lived in Decatur, MS for about 5 1/2 years. Moved to North Dakota last Summer. Haven't seen one fire ant or waterbug yet.

So, let's here more about what you collect.
If your stamps are used, I'd say to use hinges to mount them into an album (either storebought or printed out yourself from one of the websites listed in the previos post.
If your stamps are mint, I'd say to mount them in the plastic mounts so you don't damage the gum. The thing is, stamp mounts are expensive.

See Ya around.

Dave N.

Welcome Donnie

You don't have to spend a lot of money to put together an album. Just remember to use archival quality paper. Hinges are still fairly cheep.

Hi, Donnie, and welcome to the forum!

I am brand new to collecting and also am working out albums right now. I have a US album I bought with pre-made pages. Mystic stamps (www.mysticstamp.com) has a great deal on albums.

Now, for my world wide, I am making my own for my one stamp from every country album and am looking to buy another now for the rest of them.

There are so many options when deciding how to store/display your stamps, that there are many ways to do it without spending a lot of money.
