How do you know that some perforations weren't removed?

I believe Clark is right! Look at how crooked the bottom is - it used to have perforations!

Thanks cfrphoto and Petert4522.Why not trim both top and bottom? So does the perfs look legit on top? Just didn't look legit to me. But yeah the bottom does look crooked.I guess the pervs were too close to vignette to cut top?

The stamp could have been chopped in an affixing machine. Making a high resolution scan (1200 DPI or above) and matching the edges in Photoshop or Photoshop Elements would give more information. Also, compare the gauge of the perforations with at least two sides of another perf 12 stamp.
