personally, I believe that is fair..not 10.00 to start.. certain buyers always attempting to get lowest prices which is not fair to sellers.

RGSTAMP: Double cancels aren't common on this issue, but they aren't rare either. This one is on a cover that was stolen from me by the house sitter's girlfriend.

ttreen.. thanks for answer to my question. Your pic is interesting-- that is one gnarly cancellation!!

and if I see your stamp/cover on ebay or another auction house, I will certainly inform them that it was stolen.

I had a babysitter at my house last night watching my kids... now I have to go downstairs and check to make sure all the stamps (and liquor) are accounted for. LOL

of course, and the one the OP post will go over $ 100 too. If he have the chance to purchase it under or around $ 100, go for it, it's an easy resel, but he have very slim chance to get it at this price

Now I'm a little bit confuse, is Paul selling it or want to buy it ?

So my feeling was good. I can't help, I don't sell stamps. I'm so bad at selling stamps, I loose money each time, so I prefer keep them.

This is a #1 I sold on ebay, I think it was early in 2014. I was rebuilding a bicycle and sold a few items to help with that project. Anyway, this one sold for $156.00. I was pleased and the buyer was happy and left very good feedback.

This is the only scan I could find of it.

The double cancel!! ttreen's has you beat on ugly side, but cool stamp. Just strange why it would be cancelled twice like that

I thought the pen 'twice across the face' would have had my stamp selling for less then $100.00.
But people love #1's with four margins.

The stamp was in a box lot of ephemera. Some almanacs, calendars, magazines and such. Cost me less then $20.00.
