Hi guys..Promise, this is my last silly question...I don't have a specialized USA catalogue..These 2 scott E14 seem to have different coloured paper..is there 2 different colours or am I just seeing things..?

Robert, why is this your last s....d question? Are you leaving us? Too bad!
Anyway, I don't really think it is stupid question - I believe the stamp was used on a red envelope.

Top stamp look toned. May have been used on a parcel which was made with low quality paper with acid composition.

By the way, this stamp comes in two perfs, but you probably already know that. 11 and also 11 x 10.5.

Yes, E14 and E19. Let's hope for E14, it's used value is about ten times that of E19. E14 is the 11 perf.

It has to be an E14 with the plate number in that position. It's toned, as has been stated above.

Just by looking at the sheet margins, the top one seems like a flat plate perf 11 (E14) and the bottom one seems like a rotary press perf 11 x 10.5 (E19).

Yes..The top one is perf 11x11
Bottom is perf 11x10.5
