Scored this at our Nashville show this weekend, where one of our members, Tipzi, offered to sell me this one. It is 2R5, a beautiful, beautiful stamp, with complete selvedge and unused. 2R5 has a great little "backwards C" curl in the middle of the hair straight to the west of Franklin's eyes you can see very well in this image.

I didn't scan the back, but I like this part the best, because I call it "historic". For the 1c fans, remember that Ashbrook called this Plate 6, and in between the writings of his book(s) and Neinken's book, it was discovered that Plate 6 never existed, and all of the positions that were thought to be Plate 6 were actually Plate 5. I have 2 now that say "Plate 6": One with Ashbrooks' signature, and now this stamp where "2R6" is written on the back of it. So this stamp was plated prior to the Neinken book, which was published in 1972.
Enjoy....and thanks again, Tipzi! Ray
