I admit it. I'm a bad philatelist.

I have been ignoring my Germany collection for about six months now.

It's not really my fault though. My U.S. collection was younger and better looking. She was vibrant and exciting. She was willing to do things my Germany collection wasn't.

My Guatemala collection told me I was cheating and that I would eventually get hurt. I didn't listed to her though, and I even put her aside also.

To make a long, embarrassing story short, however, I've asked Germany for forgiveness and I've received it. I'll be loyal and loving and start working on her again immediately. Oh, I won't be able to completely give up U.S. or Guatemala - they just bring too much excitement to my life. But I'll concentrate on Germany because its the right thing to do!

I sympathise Greg.

I have a tough time being a one Country woman. I hven't looked at my Canadian collection in months. Australia and Poland have consumed what little time I have ( which is none these days.

I divorced Canada. She got too expensive, so I dumped her ten years ago.

I much prefer the British Commonwealth... playing the field. A little Malaya, a little Burma.

I still bump into Miss Canada, but she's not worth my bother.

I have trouble keeping my hands off the hot little Indonesian, though!

I have to admit that I've been focussed on my Lincoln collection first, Route 66 precancels second, and my US collection has fallen to the wayside. I have at least 2 years of supplement pages not even in the albums and still need to purchase 2008's pages.

I've also been sending off for pictorial postmarks regularly and designing cachets & local post items for the last 3 months. I just requested 4 more Lincoln postmarks on Saturday and serviced over 40 covers for the Simpsons last week. WHEW!

I agree with Swabbie & Stamperdude!

I've been here since March 11 and that's the best joke I've seen yet
