This person out of France has previously listed under the names alex.hau and collectionneurtimbmonor. His previous listings contained incredibly rare stamps that he did not own, often using photo-chopped images lifted from other listings. His image manipulation skills are improving.

The listing says "pre-printed" four times (pre-printed stamps twice). I would take him at his word ...

I would take it as a pun on words..He says "pre-printed" then tells every one he pre-printed sheets to put them on..I would take that as he printed copies of REAL stamps and put them in a binder for sale..
Just my opinion.

I reported the listing. We'll see what happens. I suspect the whole thing is staged, including the bidders.

Stamps on the "album pages" which should be the same size are much larger or smaller. I had never seen this kind of "bizarro" work on ebay before.

Exactly how would one notify the bidders?
If the "report item" link was used there will be zero response by ebay.

Yeah these are copies and he would try to weasel out of refunding by claiming he said they were. I sort of doubt anything in this 'collection' is real, including the bids.

I also reported it. Boy ebay sure doesn't make that easy. Very rigid categories of complaint to pick from and then it tried to tell me I couldn't report because I hadn't bid on it. Geesh..

Reminds me of the Jerry Reed song, "She got the Gold Mine, I got the Shaft" (or whatever the title of the song was)......

I asked "lion6774" What are "pre-printed" stamps? Are these actually color copies of actual stamps placed in stamp mounts?
his reply: "it is the sheet that are pre-printed stamps are real and in pocket".
These stamps are too nice, no reserve? This doesn't smell right!

I have the same stamp in my digital collection............
It originated as far as I can recall, about 10 years ago,
A fellow posted a complete US collection online
with Scott numbers as a reference guide.

Amos had him remove the list due to copyright.

That doesn't mean the vendors stamp is not genuine,
but looking at the image shading, borders etc, makes it highly suspect.

Very scary up to $7100 at time of my post. It is very evident the stamps are not engraved, particularly the Graf zeppelins.

I like the penultimate scan which shows a 292 graded 80 in slab and another stamp which "certifies" he has these stamps. Also the last scan which adds a red binder.

Does the deception involve paying ebay fees, or if the shill wins it they agree to cancel the transaction?
