I was hoping to share the completed cover page today. Thought I'd share my frustration, just the same. Have a laugh at my expense.

I'm doing a small album for some of my 10's and 11's. I want to do it all free hand, with some sketches showing details and recuts etc. This was my first attempt at the cover page.

So close to being done and...

My wife said, I looked like the piano playing muppet, that banged his head on the keyboard.

Ahh, really miss Rowlf! He has always been one of my favorite muppets!

Back to the drawing board. Of course it had to be the very last thing that was botched.
The stamp is an enlarged color copy. The pages are 5 1/2 - 8 1/2. At this rate, it'll take me 10 years to complete the album.

Daveinva47, well except for there's is one too many 1's, I would be OK with it. I added the stamp photo after I ripped the page in half. Wanted to give folks an idea of how it will look.

I'm sorry, but I did laugh. Only because I understand your frustration. I was printing homemade album pages for my 3 centers a couple of weeks ago, when I noticed that I had misspelled "Early"--of course it was wrong on every page that contained it. Sometimes the copy and paste feature is not the best way to go. All that time, ink, and paper wasted.

Just don't give up! I put a lot of stuff on quadrille, and my irredeemable errors with fountain pen are frequent. But you get an involvement with your collection that pre-printed and computer-generated pages just don't give you.

Stampcrow,

Now I get it. It still looks cool, despite the error....

Nice steady hand stampcrow,

My Patty draws a lot. You should see the drawing she just
did of my sons dog.

I always had good penmanship. It is starting to fade a bit.
I admire the artistry on some of the older covers.

By the way, I make mistakes constantly! What is helpful,
is when we know we make them, we can work to correct them.

This is the art that I spoke of. You did well. I look forward to seeing you soon, at the show in New York.

I know I have seen fancier, please all of you, show us your fancy handwriting!
