I am curious.

I know at one time, UN stamps were very popular. I think they were much more popular with American collectors, than with those of us in Canada.

I do not see much in the philatelic press on UN stamps anymore.

Do folks still collect UN?

Whenever I go to the Mega-Stamp Show in NYC, I see UNPA always has a big booth, so I guess they sell enough to justify outtiing a booth there.

Thoughts?

David

All the lovely Flags.
And at the Tel Aviv monthly Stamp fair, all UN issues can be purchased at face value, through a special deal with the IPF [Israel Philatelic Federation]

Here is one such cracker purchased at the said Fair.....

Yes, David.

I still collect UN. I started first with the NY issues, then gradually added Geneva & Vienna. I think they'd be great issues for young people - they involve lots of geography and world events. For the most part, they are reasonably priced. The mint are usually easier to find (but cost no more) than the used examples.

PS to Londonbus -- the images work fine for me.
