Hey all,
I found an envelope in Grampa's stuff full of what I'll call "Engraved" postage bits and pieces. He has torn the postage from several envelopes. Some of them he left the cancellation location on them. Probably knows something I don't.
My question is this. What should I do with them?
I could cut them as square as possible and put them in the album.
Thanks again
Jay

I would either cut them square or rectangular with the city, state, & date for a more uniform presentation. If they are 19th century it may be worthwhile to keep the whole cover even if they are torn, tattered, and stained.

There is no "whole" to them, just torn out corners. Haven't dated them yet, but they look to be fairly old.
Thanks for the reply!
