lot 1800

I am interested in upgrading to a better centered used version and came across this attractive, yet inexpensive 50c with low estimate (relatively) for 50c trans-miss in upcoming auction.

from previous posts, if I remember correctly, rule of thumb is that this stamp is reperfed at left.

If anyone can confirm, thanks ahead of time

Correct. Guide lines on the Trans-Miss issues:
perforated along the top/bottom guide lines
straight-edge along the left /right guidelines.

So this stamp would have perfs added at left (technically not reperfed since it was not perforated to begin with.)

Thanks John

Will not bid on it as item description doesn't mention perf issues.

Not sure if Weiss missed it or kelleher just left this out of item description and it's actually on cert.

Weiss certificate states genuine in all respects. Kelleher states that the stamp may have added perfs and is willing to send in for a new cert.
