Hi all,
started collecting at the age of 10 like most people my interest in stamps throughout my teenage years disappeared.
In my late 20s my passion for collecting returned and I haven't looked back.

My collecting interest started with Australia and Territories Pre and decimal currency.

In 2000 I decided to stop collecting new and current PO issues.

The vast new issue policies Of Australia post and the cost involved was a major decision maker plus the downturn of domestic mail making finding used copies very difficult.
Diversity was the answer and I set about collecting Varieties found on Australian issues. (Retouches,Reentries,Flaws & Flyspecks)
Due to the stamp production process improving most Australian varieties occur before 1980.
Over the years I accumulated many government Perfins (mainly Victorian "VG") and I now specialize in this collecting field.
Currently a member of the Perfin Club of New Zealand and Australian and regularly write articles for the club Bulletin.

Welcome to the Stamp Community. I am interested in flyspecking U.S. first issue revenues. I can already tell it will take quite a bit of experience to be good at that speciality. Hope you enjoy your experience here as much as I do.
