Nash, most of us Re start at some point..i was a collector on a small scale until about 1986..then I started attending the big shows in New York City..attending the Dutch country auctions down in Delaware..they were good back in the early 90's..now the dealers will not let a collector buy a lot..they buy so many lots that they do not mind overbidding once in a while..but it is all at once, a hobby, a pastime,a learning experience..and if it was not fun..we would not be doing it !!

I work in a world where I see some of the sickest stuff man has come up with. Thank God I have something like my collection to take me out of this world and into a world of pure innocence. If it wasn't for my stamps, I'm sure I'd be spending even more money on a halfway decent shrink!

Outlaw, I can relate..stamps are the strongest thing I can take for an escape..most times they work !!
