Following Stephanie and David Giles' success with Linn's Stamp News recently, I have just received an email from the Editor of one of UK's biggest Stamp society magazines asking for permission to publish a Stamp Story I had written in 2005. It may be in the next edition but I do not have confirmation as yet. He also told me a letter I wrote will be published in the August Edition...it's about US Flag Definitives. So a double celebration I hope ! Oh yes, the magazine is Stamp Lover, the publication of one of the oldest Philatelic Societies in the UK, The National Philatelic Society [formerly the Junior Philatelic Society], with members worldwide. Every member gets a copy of the excellent magazine. And with Tina's exciting Stamp packet waiting to be opened....it's been quite a day thus far Londonbus1........ Oops! In my excitement, I posted this in the wrong forum...I had just been reading Stamperdude's reply on the Simpsons cover thread and did not go elsewhere to open a new topic. What a dumbo If one of the mods would be so kind........ Londonbus1 |

The Flag letter and attributes seem so long ago. Today I received, belatedly, my February copy of Stamp Lover, the National Philatelic Society magazine. And on page 25...my story ! Londonbus1.....Now back to the real world ! |
