Found this in my old stamp collection and need some help. Not sure if I'm measuring this correctly. It comes out to 11 p on both sides, but don't know how to measure length.

There are a couple of things we would like for you to do. First of all if you are serious about stamps please get a perforation gauge. That way you can do one of the most important checks yourself.
Secondly, it would help if you used a matte black background. That would not reflect any background light so easily.
And lastly, please include a picture of the back of the stamp!

Shade points to Scott # 552. Can you scan the back to confirm?

I have put the gauge to it for the perfs- but there are several sizes that the 11p fall into. Not sure how to measure that much. I will rescan and send front and back.

It doesn't sound as if you're using the perforation gauge properly. There will only be one point where the lines or circles on the gauge line up exactly with the perforations.

Perfs 11. 19 3/4 x 22 1/2. How do you measure this? I have about 15 of these stamps. All the other measure to 10p. This one is an 11.

I am a world collector and haven't messed too much with my US stamps before. Have a bunch from my grandmother - but more have just sat in my collection.
