If you can't see any evidence of a grill from the front, it is unlikely grilled, but not impossible.

Any of them have receiving marks on the reverse or other marks with a year date?

no dates anywhere on the covers ... I'm starting to lean with the last one maybe being 64b. Nice comparison here with a mint auction image

The PAID marking on the second cover is of some interest--George W. Linn wrote a whole book about these markings.

Clifhiker, only way you'll find it if it's 64b is to have it certified.

I've made the mistake a bunch of times, buying a cover online that I think looks pink, only to get it in my hand to find it's salmon rose, not rose pink. But the pinks are definitely out there

On my screen, yours doesn't match the rose pink and looks salmon. The pinks are from early in the issue, only in 1861. It would help to have an 1861 date on your cover, but even then, salmon rose was a '61 shade, just like the pinks. And some of the salmons are very similar to pinks.

Good luck, hope it works out for you, Ray
