Hi. New here....Very impressed with all the knowledgeable and helpful posts. I found several thousand stamps in an old box and would like to identify a few that look promising based on a couple of hours very frustrating research.

The first is from an old Scott book. It came off the page quite easily. Hope the photos are helpful. Thank you in advance!

This is your nicest one - but again, not in great shape. US Scott #24 from what I can see, but my eyes aren't good enough to see this one from a picture - others will be able to tell more definitively...

Scott #24 type V. Relief A (top row on plate) (identified from the vertical dash in the upper left and dot in the upper right used for alignment).

I'll go one farther here....
It's definitely an "A" relief stamp from the top row of Plate 9.
Easy to tell the plate on this one because the guide dots at the top right are either plate 9 or 10 (5, 7, or 8-- they'd be together to the right, instead of one to the right and one over the ornament), and there is a dot on Franklin's shoulder right over the "O" in "ONE" CENT.

This dot is found on 17 of the 20 positions on the top row of plate 9. So, if you see the guide dots apart, and no shoulder dot, it's usually going to be a plate 10 stamp.

Hope this is helpful....thanks, Rau

Based on the Doporto Archive images I'd say there is a good chance that this is position 1R9 (looks like there is just enough margin at left to account for the center line being cut away).
