Sorry, this is the best I can get the image.
Any of the stamps with "one line recut in lower right triangle" shows this line further to the right.

It's a normal stamp from Plate 8.

Stampcrow, the lower right triangle shows two vertical lines and two curved lines as they were transferred from the transfer roll. There were also probably seven horizontal lines completing the triangle. The delicate vertical lines wore away quickly, and are not visible on many impressions. Here's a very early impression of a #10A (yellowish orange brown on part India paper) that shows the lines a little more clearly.

Ok, so what I'm seeing is the actual original lines. Thanks guys. It would make sense to see these more often on the later plates, because they had developed better hardening techniques. More printings with less wear. Yes?
