This stamp design was not issued in imperforate form.

Yes, it only came in perf 12 (other than an essay) as shown on page

The imperfs used to be listed as stamp varieties, but all are now classed as proofs or essays, and these were not used (except for a few examples that attempted to "legitimate" the imperf as a stamp and got stuck on an envelope).

You can see a little trace of a perforation on the left side about a quarter way up from bottom.
