I say no. The covers are only worth a few bucks each - opened or unopened. Unless there's more to this lot we don't see I wouldn't pay more than $5. |

flipacoin;Maybe the cover was opened from the side? Some stamps have short perfs.The german cover can't make out which value it is.The upper right stamp is torn of on the NE corner. 100 is way too much.. |

No not worth it. The first and third covers depicted are definitely cut open from the side (the term used in the hobby is "reduced"), which is not a value-enhancer. The cogwheel cancel on one of the Scott #65's is of interest, but overall it seems a stretch to value this lot in double let alone triple figures (though I cannot say anything about the Germany(?) cover). |

I would scan the cover from Germany by itself and post it in the world cover section. Take 1 scan of the whole cover, 1 crop all but the pair of stamps, and 1 of the postmark. |

Thank you gentlemen for your advise. I am already in the dog house for spending what I do on my beloved hobby! The only reason I believed it would be worth the price is for the grills I saw on the 3 cent stamps. I will post closer images to show you what I believe to be grills. |

They are grills, but they are probably either E or F grills, both of which are common. |
