Hello, Here's a US #65 with a cancel that looks to me like parts of letters to a word. But my imagination and research haven't come up with anything. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks! Steve
Here is my attempt at isolating the cancel (of the second image and rotated 180 degrees). I cannot say that it helps me to identify it at all. I cannot even guess.
Don, I doubt that it is that one, but it is the best match that I have seen so far.
Otherwise, I am very glad to see you are still posting here. It seems that you are doing a great job at living your life despite your debilitating health issues. You deserve the best of recognition for your many efforts. I have much respect for your fortitude.
Hi Ryan, Agreed that it is not a great match, but perhaps one of our Vermont specialists could assist with this particular cancel. I am currently working on a fancy cancel database which hopefully will be published online in the next week or so.
I have been transparent about my health issues for selfish reasons; the hope is that the community helps with keeping Stamp Smarter online when I am no longer around. Frankly I have become fairly acclimated to doctors delivering bad news, this allowed me to deal with my mortality a while back. Everyone closes their album at some point, the biggest lesson this journey has taught me is to take full advantage of the time that we are all blessed with. Don
