I would keep them both. The face free is probably the best one, but the one side imperforate is very nice also.

Thanks you all. I have only 1 spot in my album for it. So with 1 vote for the top, 1 for the bottom and 2 ties, I will put them one over the other.

Both are nice I like that the second is cleaner and has a stronger impression but I probably go with the top one. Better centering top and bottom for one thing and the line in the left margin for another...

Both are good stamps but I prefer the 1st one with its better margins & perforations, eye free cancel and the guide line. Nothing wrong with a straight edge provided that the margins are good. |

Both Stamps being fairly equal in centering, all plate markings are preferred, especially straddle panes. |

Top stamp is clearly better, and illustrates the dividing line between the panes.
The lower stamp looks decent at first glance until one realizes the remaining perf chads along the bottom carry a considerable portion of the stamp image. What would its centering be if the chads were picked out? |

I agree with John here. Top stamp is real nice. Centering is VF or VF-XF for this issue. (Put the straight edge out of your mind as this is nice position piece).
Bottom stamp perfs go into design, thus very good/fine centering at best. The more I stare at them, the more I prefer the top stamp |

I wonder why the straight edge is not so straight? Note the gap between the straight edge and the center line. If entire pane was cut at that angle it seems to me that the cut would be into the stamp design a few rows further down. Don |

Thank you all, looks like the majority goes for the first one. Will leave the other in the stockbook with my doubles. Added a bigger scan in case anyone is interested in plating. |
