i cannot find this black/extremely dark green color version, anyone any idea?

added a regular green for comparison

i come to a 10 3/4 to 11 1/4 perf, very stange

That is most likely a chemically altered stamp.

I doubt if this a changeling. A precise check on the perforation rates will likely show:
The light green stamp on the left is perf 11x10.5, Scott 632, and
the dark green stamp on the right is perf 11x11, Scott 552.
Both stamps were printed in huge quantities over a span of years and have a natural color variation within each Scott number, let alone a comparison between them.

John, I do not see a dark green stamp, just a grey one?

I realize what the point of this post is all about, and to tell you honestly I have never seen this stamp in this color before. And that is the reason I said it was a changeling - this thing is far from green.

I will elaborate on my point, so it is clear, and then say no more on this thread.
The perforation measurements in the original post are suspect, so evaluation should start by confirming the Scott# identities of both stamps, then going forward to see if the color of each is within the known range for that issue, on so on.

ok, both with the electronic as with the regular perf-gauge it comes to:

11.25 horizontal and 10.50 vertical.

so a 632?

This stamp is grey it don't matter that much the # , it's good for trash or to keep as oddity.

A 632 is green not grey
