I have a general US album. I have lots of blank pages so I can "make my own" in the same style as the rest of the pre-printed album. I have an interest in US revenues... for those of you who collect US revenues, tell me how you mount them, etc.

I can also use the same ideas for my Costa Rica Revenues. I have those, nicely annotated, in Vario stock sheets.

Thank-you for your thoughts!

David

I still like the black mounts David and they do look good when all cut to the same size and have a small border around them,I know in other posts that you tend to disagree as I believe you like the clear mounts,so I'll post a set of revenues mind you it's not a full set but still I think you may get the idea.

These will be remounted on new pages at a latter stage

so what do you think David

Regards Harry

I use black mounts for my revenues. I like the way the stamp is highlighted against the black background,

Well, Postage Due is a form of revenue stamp. The whole purpose of revenue stamps was to collect money for the government. Since the Post Office was a government agency at the time postage due stamps were used. . . .

On topic though, since the catalog value of many of the revenue stamps is rather small I still use stamp hinges on some of mine. I do use black mounts for the higher values.

Thanks for backing me up Stampnaround but the post was only an example of the black stamp mounts Mike and not the revenue's ,I did post my revenue's in another post under "Harry revenue's" but since then I've fill out the collection even more so and now I have 26 revenues to go to complete my Rc series ,I'll give you a look when there mounted on the new pages.
I do have some extras that I don't need David, your quite welcome to them mate, there nothing crash hot but a couple of them are hard to get.
Thanks Tina though I think Dianne knows where my marbles are .
