OK everyone, here is something for the fun. A Stamp story, written by all of us, or at least many of us. A story that can go on as long as you wish it too, a place to have fun, to offer something out of the ordinary or to let your imagination run wild.

Shortly, I will post another topic entitled 'Our Never ending Stamp story' I will post the start of a story for someone else here to continue. After that someone else must continue....and so on until such a time that we have run out of ideas, highly unlikely knowing you lot !

This thread you are reading now explains the few simple rules which should be followed and is also a place to ask any questions or queries you may have. Please DO NOT ask anything on the story thread...this MUST BE FOR THE NEVER ENDING STORY ONLY.

Do not sign your name at the end of your piece. End your part of the story with a Full stop. or continuous dots......if you wish someone else to finish your sentence.

The overall theme is Philately as will be seen in the initial post, but not every post needs to have a philatelic connection. As in all stories, many parts one reads have no connection to the title or topic.

You can write as much or as little as you wish.
It can be funny, silly, sensible, real, unreal, fantasy and it can be informative too. One can add philatelic info along the way so we can learn and have fun at the same time. Let your imagination run wild...or not! But this is a story so try to keep the story going, so if someone jumps away from the story it is up to the following persons to bring it back...or keep it connected !

It's not confusing, just go with the flow.

You can post as many times as you like, but not consecutively. At least one other post between yours.

I think thats it.

'Our Never Ending Stamp Story' will be posted shortly. My initail post will be substantial, just to give you an idea of the story line and about what you can write [almost anything].

So it's questions/comments here, and ONLY THE STORY on the other thread.

Thanks and have fun.

Londonbus1.....Fun ? Never heard of it

This can be interesting. However, the only story line problem may be more then one person enters at the sametime may lead so some diverging stories. time will tell!

This sounds like fun and entertaining for all. I have a feeling this could be a winner for August.

Mike,
Yes, this has happened elsewhere. It's up to the next person to follow on from the post immediately before his...in other words, the one last up on the thread.

It does sort itself out......eventually !
