Here's one for all you US experts.

Where can I find a listing of all the plate block numbers associated with each issue without having to buy some $98 book?

Not an expert, but...

Durland Standard Plate Number Catalog

You can buy a new one from the United States Stamp Society (google for contact info). It's not that expensive. The older editions were under $20. The newer edition is much thicker, and may be more expensive than that.

I have a few older edition used ones in varying condition I should be able to dig up if you are interested in buying used ones.

Thanks k - they are available for $22 as a member and I've been thinking about joining anyway.

I consider it one of the better deals in philatelic literature. It now covers revenues as well -- so it basically covers everything BEP.

What I like is that it doubles as a checklist by numbers and positions. I happen to collect Mr. Zip blocks as well, so it's convenient for me to mark it in the checklist.

I think you had asked about the UV lamp? Durland will also tell you which plate numbers exist only/both tagged/untagged.

It's an overall great reference that covers printing presses as well!

You will enjoy the catalog!

I should clarify, Durland also covers the modern postage stamps printed by private companies as well, not just BEP issues.
