BOB is an acronym for Back-Of-the-Book. The Scott catalog separates stamps that are not considered issued primarily for regular postage for each country. So the main listing is for regular postage. Subsequent listings for that country may include semipostals, airmails, postage dues, officials, newspaper stamps, revenues... These subsequent listings are sometimes referred to as BOB stamps. They typically have a letter prefix in the catalog "number". Hence, the E in E19 lets us know that it is a special delivery stamp.  k |
