Hard to pick my favorite cover but this one is in my top 10. 1902 cover to Charles Upson Clark, renowned author and historian. Extremely rare Columbia 3 Bar (vertical) Hanmer #7 one of 8 known examples of the 3 bar cancel.

Great covers on this topic !

As a newbie, not my favorite one , but a new arrival I have the image on hand.

A Bibiano Italy cover 1899. So I can test how to post images here.

I only have a handful of covers in my collection, but of those, this is probably my favorite. It's a registered letter from Gotenhafen (modern Gdynia, Poland) to Gmunden, Austria.

On the front, the stamps are:
Mi 786 (Hitler)
Mi 888 & 890 (Fellowship Block of German Post Offices)
Mi 896 (400th Anniversary of Albery University)
Mi 899 (11th Race for the Brown Ribbon)

The text at the top states that 23.15 Reichsmarks are due cash on delivery, to be transferred to the post office account Danzig #3871.

On the back, and the reason I bought this cover, is a Viktoria label (Mi 6) produced as part of the German "Viktoria" propaganda campaign. It reads "Deutschland siegt an allen Fronten für Europa", or "Germany wins on all fronts for Europe".

If only some collector/dealer hadn't written on the back!

A new arrival also, and so one of my current favourites :

Las Bela SG 3, the 1898-1900 ˝ Anna on greenish-grey paper: a block of seven paying the 3˝ Anna registered letter rate from Las Bela to Karachi. Las Bela was unusual in having an extraterritorial post office in Karachi, in British India, which received and distributed mail from Las Bela, and also received mail for Las Bela.

And for all-world collectors on a simplified basis, this is one half of the total output of Las Bela. There's also a 1 Anna black on orange paper - but I've yet to come across it on cover.

Always remember the fuss by main G.P.O. trying to have the two wrongly dated FDC's returned. Issue date was 19th AUG not July.

This is not my favorite cover, but is quite interesting:
In 1923 The Costa Rica government decided to overprint the 5 cts stamp from the 1910 issue to promote coffee. 50.000 stamps were overprinted, but only 12 covers are known! So, in the plate there's an error that instead of "UD" it reads "VD" it is position 72. Only 500 of these errors were printed, only one known on a cover, which is the one that I share here:
A registered cover from Turrialba (a countryside town 2 hours away from San Jose) to Germany paying 40 cts ( 20 cts rate to europe and 20 cts for registration). The upper right stamp has the "VD" error.
