Yes it would be nice to have one maybe one day in the future, thank for a very interesting topic and I now know a little bit more about the #630 than I did before, now that I've read this thread I have a little more insight on what to look for when I consider adding on to my collection.
thanks again.

While we are on #630, I'd like to hear some comments on my sheet. The selvage measurements are all fit in the "about" range. It has 7/16" on top and left sides, 11/16" on the bottom and close to 1" on the right.

So, it appears that mine has not been trimmed, right?

The centering of most of the stamps on the sheet seems to be fairly decent.

What about the diagonal "creases"? I was told that these are normal creases caused by the gum. Is that true? Most of the creases are parallel but you can see on the right selvage that a few are not parallel although they still run in the same general direction.

Marty,

That is a VF pane! Congratulations!

Yes, the creases are natural. Yours has more than normal, but it's still a very very nice pane!!

It does not appear trimmed. On the top position panes, the untrimmed large corner selvage will appear nearly square. On the bottom position panes, the untrimmed large corner selvage will be rectangular with about 3:4 ratio.

Now you only need 15 more panes to finish plating all 16 plate numbers and positions!

Thanks k, I'm glad to hear the good news

15 more to go I don't think I'll make it. It was a major accomplishment getting this one for a reasonable price back when I had a little extra money to spare.

From the scan, it looks like there are no perf separations or perf folds. That's key to maintaining its value. So keep it well protected and minimize repositioning the stamp. On copies with a lot of natural creases, it's pretty easy to split some perfs.

I've always wanted one for myself, but ended up focusing on another area before I was ever able to find one to my liking (quality and price).
