Could someone who is fluent in Spanish (I do not mean someone who can type in the words on an Internet translator) please translate the Spanish on this Costa Rican cinderella?

I understand the "Arts & Culture" across the top and the "National Theatre" in the upper left corner... but I need help with the rest.

I'd use a larger scan but this 100k limit is killing me!

Thanks a bunch!

David

I can't help with the Spanish, but maybe I can help with the image size ...

In your scanner or imaging software options, decrease your resolution settings to 72 dpi. Most scanners default to a much higher 300, 600, or even 1200 dpi. Those resolutions, appropriate for printed media, drastically increase your file size. 72 dpi is more than adequate for web images.

Further, by lowering your dpi, you'll be able to increase the dimensions (length/width) of the image while keeping the filesize under the 100K limit.

Hi David, in essence it says:

Travel to Costa Rica
(experience) Music and Sounds

(Visit/see) the National Theater
we are preoccupied in the world's first Diva songfest
(Location) North side of the Church of Carmen
(you can call/for details) tel 22-67-55

It's more like a tourist brochure and stamp rolled into one

Thank-you very much, Nic... that is exactly the sort of translation I was looking for!

np-mp, that's a nice stamp David, first time I've seen a written invitation like that, Philippine stamps - usually I see just pictures and names of tourist destinations, no words or directions

as an afterthought, my avatar on the left, was formerly a tourist destination, it's a Bamboo Pipe Organ, made of the bamboo tree and one of only two in the world, still in use every Sunday for church service.

Visitations has now been limited and restricted, it is located on the 2nd floor, open view to church altar and assembly. it is huge and the sound is very soft and mellow. It shifts from one note to another a split second slower, compared to modern pipe organs, so songs must be picked to be of slow tempo
