It is genuine, the PF would not let it slip by if it wasn't. Pretty cool huh?

I had to check if it was April 1st, then took a double take. Almost looks like Ole Abe Lincoln. Awhile back someone had a cancel on a rev that looked like glasses.

The beard one is just to neat.

I will search the net for I've seen a #1 with a MS cancel; top hat with eyeglasses. It's really cool looking.

Hello everyone, I don't have many fancy cancels but I do have these.
Thanks
David
P.S. I know the first one is not 19th century but I like it.
Thanks

Very nice one Andy. Russ I am sure I read a article on that one many years ago. Thanks for the memories.

How about Scott 113. Interesting in that it was mailed to Peru, for just 2 cents?Something seem amiss here. There are no receiving marks on the back. The contents contain 3 items so I suspect that they may have not been the original contents but are period pieces.

artlaunier, that is a really awesome piece! how does the stamp and cancel look under a ultra-violet light? Maybe it's worth getting a PF cert. Contents are really great to, nice historical piece.

Russ a fantastic Siegel cover,

The horse is walking in trotting gait, and a fine example
of "cocking the snook"
