Hello! My name is Dean and I have just joined the forum. I have been collecting stamps for more than 60 years and collect about every aspect of the hobby. My preference is pre 1940, but I like it all.I am currently sorting a large disorganized batch of loose stamps, U.S. and foreign, that I got last summer. It will take a while. There was 550 pounds of stamps.I am having fun.I will need to learn how to upload images to this forum.Until I learn more I will be reading. Dean

Hi Dean, Welcome to the SCF. You might need another 60 years to sort that pile of stamps. Good luck. Steve |

Welcome stampaddict Dean! There are a couple of threads on here (do a search) about 'You know you are a stamp collector when . . .' that are quite funny and make you realize you are like the other stamp collectors, only more so sometimes. (Oops, thats me!) Anyway, 550 lbs? Is that all? Couldn't you have got a few more or something? What was the problem anyway? Are you sure you need all your furniture? Why not make room for more stamps!! Yay! Lots of stamps sounds like fun to me! Can I help? |
