I buy on Delcampe on occasion and I always pay with Paypal. I just check 10 sellers randomly and 9 accept Paypal. Delcampe announce a while ago that more sellers would accept payments with Paypal. Delcampe is an option when I don't find on ebay and i'm willing to pay high % of catalogue value.

As far as I remember delcampe had integrated paypal payments into the checkout proccess only a year or so ago. I am sure the statistics will improve rapidly during the coming months as far as paypal users are concerned. European collectors tend to prefer moneybookers and in that sense the American and European markets are separated there. It creates however a great opportunity for all who are interested in walking that extra mile: you may find what you need for your collection in a European owned store - sometimes at a very reasonable price.

In general I have experienced delcampe both as a buyer and as a seller and liked it very much. It is not ebay and the dynamics is a bit different but is very friendly site especially comparing to nowadays ebay.

I made my first sale on delcampe a few weeks back (my first stamp sale anywhere in fact). I have Paypal but the buyer preferred to send cash by mail! (it was a small purchase $16 Ca).

I have not figured out the e-wallet thing--anybody know how that works?

Otherwise the site looks promising to me and generally it is very easy to use.

And speaking of Belgium, when I got my membership card in the mail the envelope it was in contain four different, and huge, Belgium stamps--way cool!

My delcampe nickname is xlldo2--see y'all there
