We have a member from one of my favourite cities !
A special welcome is in order.
I didn't know they had Stamp Collectors !
But they do have nice Post Boxes...mostly custard coloured !
Some in scenic locations !
...and some not.
And if you collect ATM's, even those machines are like custard !
and they start this interesting collecting area at a very young age in Munich !
As are the Bicycles of the Post persons...
...and the Express mail vans....
Yes, they all look like Custard !
But the food is great !
Currywurst !
....Schnitzel !
...Tuna Steak in Parma Ham
and......
...Schweinhaxn, KartoffelKnudel and sauerkraut ! {nice T-Shirt, I've seen that before somewhere?}
If you get boar-d whilst eating, take a look at the decor.
Yes, you get REAL Bavarian hospitality in Munich...
...and if you are there at the right time of the year you can always pop along to the
...and have yourself a beer
...and an oversize Bagel thingy
Or you can go sightseeing to the City centre
and buy some unusual veggies in the Viktuelienmarkt
But if you walk too much and come upon a Red Post Box, you must be in the east !
So get that train back to the centre and visit the Hauptbahnhof. It makes a three-storey shopping centre look like a Corner Deli...and it's even got a Stamp Shop !
But if you cannot find it because of the masses of crazy tourists [and Germans], then just nip on down to your local post office and get all your Philatelic Goodies from that Custard-coloured stamp shop !
Yes, anyone from Munich is welcome here....even Stamp Collectors !
