Here's a couple of EFO's......

The Dag Hammarskjold error with yellow inverted. Mass produced after discovery.


The 2-tailed cat.

I remember the Hammarskold error very well..just out of the service and was working in Manhatten as I could find no work upstate..if only the guy had kept quiet and put the sheet in a safe deposit box for a while..we would have had one FDC instead of two..and he could have put his kid through college..in those days anyway !!

In October of 1962, at about the time of the Hammarskjold issue, the U.S. also issued the Canal Zone Thatcher Ferry Bridge stamp (Scott 157a) of which a sheet was found without the silver ink showing the bridge. H.E. Harris of Boston, reputed to be "the world's largest stamp firm" had obtained these and successfully sued to prevent the Post Office from doing the same thing and using a mass printing to devalue the error. Seems I heard these were subsequently donated to the Smithsonian and that he did not capitalize on them.

There are probably more of the Hammarskjold error reprints, in full sheets, still in the hands of collectors than there are of the normal issue.

I really like the bees - a dramatic eye catching shift - nice!
