Recently, I bid on and got a Scott number 595 on
ebay. The price was low and I knew going in there was a chance it was incorrectly identified.
When I got the stamp, I was unable to confirm or deny the stamp was indeed correctly identified.
I emailed the seller and told him that I would not leave any negative feedback, since I was just as responsible as he was in having difficulty in being able to positively identify the stamp
I haven't heard back from the seller and am trying to decide on a second communication.
This certainly comes under the heading of caveat emptor. I doesn't pay to try for a bargain on a rather pricey stamp.
