They are both on full envelopes but I'm having a heck of a time finding them.

Hi Tonya,

I don't know much about US envelopes but they appear to be:

Scott #U537 or #U538 for the red one

Scott #U436 for the purple one

with quite a few different dies and shades to pick from.

These are both listed in the standard Scott catalogue.

I hope this gives you a useful starting point.

They are in Scott under Airpost stamped envelopes,official stamped envelopes Tonya.

the 3cents has more hair than the 2cents...must be the 1 cent difference

Tonya, they are under the regular Stamped Envelopes and Wrappers section; not the air post nor the official sections.

Nigel is basically correct. Your stamps are U538 (2c+2c carmine) and U436f (3c purple, Die 9).
