persuing my new flame Argentina I have pushed Guatemala, worldwide pre 1969 , U.S. precancels and recent Canada into the backround..is this normal or am I a cad ???

Well the Appalachian trail does pass through Dutchess county..i would have to cross the Hudson somewhere Probably the Poughkeepsie or Bear Mountain bridge !!

I think that happens to the best of us. Something new catches our eye and we focus on that new area of collecting. The best part is that you can always go back to the other areas you set aside. Also, a new area can help if you are bored with looking for and thru the same material. A fresh new perspective.

I would only caution to proceed carefully because Argentina can be very infectious (in a philatelic sense, at least). When you get5 to a wantlist level let us know.

AHHH The Appalachian Trail. I spent 15 days on it with a few friends when I was 22, Lots of good times. I would Highly recommended it! But, just don't try to find a Stamp Show.

Cgrotha...Ah, Argentina...a lot of stamps..mostly inexpensive..should be a lot of fun...its a mixed collection..for complete sets..i have filled most of the 1978 pages..its mint stamps..for the older ones used are fine..i check both stampwants and ebay..i stampwants many of the dealers let you do a "best offer" which makes one feel a little better about a transaction !!
