?unwanted Emails?

For those of you still getting email from "LaSwabbie" please understand that I am doing everything I can to get it stopped.

An IP address in Brazil hacked my Google account on Thursday/Friday but has not been back in since then. Google can/will do nothing other than provide the IP address and tell me to change my password.

I have:

1. Changed Google and Blackberry passwords and security questions three times
2. I'm monitoring the use of the Google LaSwabbie account by tracking IP addresses. There has been no unusual activity in my account in the last 48 hours or so. The only IP address that shows up is the one here in my house and RIM, the Blackberry service out of Ontario Canada.
3. I deleted my Blackberry email accounts so there is no access through RIM.
4. I am monitoring my outbox and no new messages have been sent in the last 48 hours or so.
5. I deleted all contacts from my Google account.
6. I have changed every password on every account, website, etc. I have.

If you are still getting these emails then I don't know how the bad guys are doing it because there is nothing I have the capability to find that says they are coming directly through my account.

las if they have keylogger in all of what you are doing is useless. I would suggest a LLF immediately. sorry low level format of he compromised machine.

Arrived here in Halifax at 1:12 PM ADT (-4:00 GMT).
In Trash now.

Hi Laswabbie... I got the one with the professional looking site about Viagra, learned a lot there... and another one from Brazil which I did not open. That got me , until I saw your post here

Kidding aside, it appears to be a spider web type of virus it's spreading, first sends a safe message with a promo of a valid site, then resends another that is fishy.

Take note of your inbox email Byte content..if its 3Kb and below...don't open it. most likely it's a virus package

Forgot to say Laswabbie...the email name that comes up on the emails is NOT Laswabbie..its "Greg Groves" and "Greg Groten" and "Greg Groven" but the email address that comes up is yours

Just a suggestion, try out the "firewall" program named "Frozen Throne" it's what I use and find it to be quite good
