I see that many of you do this just for the fun of collecting. As a new member, I thought I would ask to see some of your favorite stamps. This would not necessarily be the most valuable, but could be.

Here is my favorite. One reason is that it was a gift from my grandfather, more than 40 years ago. I also always liked it because it was exotic and different, and the colors are so bold. Over the years it has remained one of my favorites.

Random, don't feel bad if not many people are posting in this thread. If they are like me, then they are probably having trouble picking one favourite stamp.

I quite like this one...

and this one, because it is so strange...

and I like this one, can you tell I'm partial to Estonian stamps...

Some very nice stamps! A very interesting topic! My favourite stamp is the one I have not got and when I get it, it will be the next one I have not got! The best thing about stamping is there is always another stamp!

It's difficult to figure out which one is my favorite stamp, as there are so many I really like, but I like this one as the colors are so nice-- isued for the Hamburg Postal Congress in 1984-- it has a companion s/s which shows the rest of the town.

I'm sure I posted this in another thread, but it's an easy choice for me. It's one case where an overprint adds to the aesthetic appeal of a stamp. Beautifully centred, great perfs, fresh colour
