Rod222 will like this one, though he has probably seen it already.

We have seen stamps with simulated perforations, well this sheet issued May 7 by Australia has simulated toning! If the real stamp DOES become toned, how can you tell?





Nice classic looking stamp - I wonder if it is engraved, or simulated engraving?

Only seen it in the latest Stamp Bulletin BeeSee,

Simulated toning, should fit nicely in my collection

The thing that freaks me out with that treatment of QV
is the lion, it has a human face, try and check it out
in full screen with images on the web, its eerie~~~!

rod if you like toned stamps I am sure I can sell you those really nicely toned :)
