It is a really long list. I think a little more data input would be useful. Perhaps a column for MNH,MH,Used and maybe one concerning flaws. At least the flaws would remind you that if you find a good deal on another you can replace with a better stamp.

I suppose mine might be to complex for some. I got a call from a guy today who uses EZSTAMP and he said he loves it. This is a poor mans system. I don't know why the Grid isn't showing.I guess I would need to scan it.

I agree with I Love Stamps, I would probably get that one in the front position. Nice collection, a lot of great old stamps.

Does anyone find the original post a bit unusual? I didn't notice that it was originated in 1910 or I'd have commented sooner, Since it looks like the originator (redwizards) did not update his posts, I'll continue with my thought.

It struck me that the originator was incredibly naive about early US stamps, considering that the exhibits of the posting showed the collection of a first class collector and a collection worth thousands, probably collected over many years. I was hoping that additional discussions would shed some light on the subject. I also checked his user profile and found the website he referenced to be invalid, although it could have since been deleted. Also, no reference about how he came about the collection, via inheritance, recent purchase or whatever.

In any case, a great exhibit! And a mystery.

That is a collection of a new collector? If I live to be 200 I will never have those.

Tha's the same with me. Those stamps I will never seee except in the catalog. My oldest stamp is #114 and I may never get anything older than that. But that's part of the fun is stamp collecting is the searching.
