Can anyone tell me how to tell the difference between Scott's # 1041 and 1041b Statue of liberty flat press and rotary press.

Thanks Dianne

It is difficult. The rotary press stamps are a little bit (a hair) taller. The design on flat plate press stamps (#1041) is 22.7mm high, and on the rotary press stamps (#1041B) the design is 22.9mm high.

Hello. After reading the above information I still had a question. When measuring the height do we measure at the edges of the design, or at the extremes of the perfs. After measuring according to the given instructions, I'm pretty sure its between the edges of the design element, and not from perf to perf. I'm guessing and would appreciate help. Blessings, jack316
