Just wanted to introduce myself here, I've posted in a few threads and trolled many more over the last few days.
Thanks to everyone who's given me so much help and information over the past few days. I recently acquired my great grandfather's collection (heard this one before?) and was initially looking into selling everything, but as I look into it, I'm finding everything very interesting and am to the point now where I'm more interested in the history of the items than the actual values of everything.
I think I just found a new money pit/hobby to get into.
I received about 5,000 stamps. Each and every one is Pre-1900, from countries from around the world. Barbados to South Africa to India to Japan to Germany and all the way back to the Us and around a few more times.
Sorry for the book, see you all around the boards!
