Nice stamps Jason.

1/2 penny green Kangaroo is the first "Australian" stamp, before this they were issued by the states. Stanley Gibbons #1. $9.00 Used

Six penny brown Kookaburra is from the 1932 Zoological series, (not to be mistaken for the Six penny Kooka of 1914). SG# 146. $1.40 Used.

Prices taken from here.. http://www.stanleygibbons.com/mc/se...=69&paging=1

Jason,
I was wondering when I read your previous post about receiving your 1000 plus stamps if you had any ROOS in there. Was the Roo from that bunch??? IF so, nice ROO and lucky guy you are! What did that lot of 1000 plus cost ,if you don't mind me asking?

Gussyboy

Keep on posting your finds--we love to see them! Thanks!

Hey Gussy

I Just bought a whole wack of 1000 lot stamps from ebay. They are off paper but not sorted so they have duplicates. I should receive them any day now. They were $2.39 per lot of 1000. (Great britain price so that's double) Plus shipping. If they are any good I'll let you know. He had lots. I bought 10 so it should keep me busy for awhile.
