Quote: my neurotic little stamp kingdom Do the residents of Philistan refer to themselves as Philistanis, or Philistines? I better be nice...my summer packet could end up being 100 Machins... |

Like you my other hobby is writing. I publish on a poetry site. Usually when I don't feel like writing or spending time in my collections it's because I been to long inside. I don't know about you but me I need fresh air and exercice too. It's summer time after all! |

I'm beginning to think that khj is more than a little disturbed. There's probably a listing for his disorder in the new edition of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders - DSM4.
On the other hand, he would make a great stamp cult leader! I would sign up.
I get bored with stamps every year or so and walk away for a week or a month, but I consider that a good thing because I'm always re-energized when I come back. I also find that doing something different with a current collection, or starting something new, helps. |

Thanks for calling me out on it, spock...had I been inspired, I would have matched Mr. Kool-Aid to the Penny Magenta, but that just seemed too subtle to be worth the effort. "Mmmm, Raspberry?" [stirring in more sugar] |

Good grief! I thought I was the only old geezer around who likes Kool-Aid. My wife shakes her head every time I go to the foodliner and buy a BOX of 100 singles.

Quote: On the other hand, he would make a great stamp cult leader! I would sign up. A couple of my disciples will come knocking on your door later this month. You should recognize them immediately. They will be tapping on your door with tweezers and will be carrying a big well-worn black book -- it's a Scott International Part IA album. We are not dictatorial (most of the time), so you can have your choice of new name. But may I suggest Penny Blue or Treskilling Yellow? |

I am not a tea drinker. However, I have always been a Kool Aid drinker. In fact, I use an official Kool Aid spoon and Kool Aid magnetic packet holder purchased with Kool Aid points. I even have some Kool Aid Man cups and pitchers around here somewhere. |
