Hey Folks, You never know what pops up in a box lot. These are anti-Nazi propaganda leaflets that were dropped over enemy lines during World War II (1942-43). It looks like the Soviets used some form of non-stamped postal stationery (military?) to make the leaflets. I wish they were in better condition, but it was wartime so for them to survive at all is something. They are interesting items, reutilized postal items that carried a message via "airmail". Please show your own items of military propaganda. Will
Thanks for the comments. I've been searching the web and haven't seen any like examples yet. I'll have to try PsyWar.org as they seem to deal a lot with propaganda items. Can anyone verify if the stationery was originally designed for military mail? The top three are smaller like postal cards while the larger ones are lined on the back to write a message and to be folded in half upon mailing. Will
